• Usage Data: Details about how you use the Service, including the events you view, the streams you join, buttons you click, time spent on pages, and search queries.
• Location Data:
• Approximate Location: Collected via IP address to determine your general region for local event discovery.
• Precise Location: Only collected with your explicit consent when using location-based features like "People Near Me." You can revoke this consent at any time via your device settings.
• Device Data: Information about the device you use (device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and crash data).
C. Information from Third Parties
• Social Sign-In: If you link or log in using a third-party service (e.g., Google or Apple), we receive information such as your name and email address from that service.
• Payment Processors: We receive transaction confirmation and limited information (e.g., last four digits of the card or account number) from our payment partners (e.g., Stripe, Paystack).
How We Use Your Information

• To Provide the Service: To operate the platform, allow you to create or purchase tickets for events, facilitate live streams and real-time requests, and process payouts to Creators.
• For Personalization: To tailor your experience, recommend nearby events, suggest connections via "People Near Me," and prioritize content based on your activity and "Vibe" preferences.
• For Safety and Security: To verify accounts, detect fraudulent transactions, protect against illegal activity (e.g., streaming copyrighted content), and enforce our Terms of Use.
• For Communication: To send transactional emails (e.g., ticket confirmations), respond to customer service requests, and send marketing communications (where permitted by law and your preferences).
• For Legal Compliance: To comply with legal obligations, requests from government authorities, and to resolve disputes.
How We Share Your Information
We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
• With Event Organizers/Creators: If you purchase a ticket or submit a real-time request for an event, the Creator/Organizer of that event receives your necessary contact details (Name, Email, Ticket details) to manage attendance, communicate event changes, and fulfill the request.
• Publicly on the Service: Any information you post in your public profile, event listings, chat rooms, or shoutouts is visible to the public or other users, depending on your privacy settings and the nature of the feature (e.g., "People Near Me" shows your public profile to nearby users).
• With Service Providers: We share necessary data with vendors, consultants, and service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, cloud hosting, and marketing analytics. These partners are legally bound to protect your data.
• For Legal Reasons: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, in response to a court order, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to prevent imminent harm or fraud.
• Business Transfers: If Popla is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

• Marketing Opt-Out: Easily unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in the email footer. You may still receive necessary service-related communications.
• Location Services: Control precise location sharing by toggling the "People Near Me" feature or managing permissions in your device settings.

We implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it immediately.
